I hear many things, I read numerous articles, and it all comes down to 'study it out for yourself'. I can offer you information and then it's up to you to take it from there. Right?
"In no place is such instruction as this more needed and nowhere will it be productive of greater good, than in the home. Parents have to do with the very foundation of habit and character...Presenting children with principles of the law of God as affecting both physical and moral health. Show that obedience to God's word is our only safeguard against the evils that are sweeping the world to destruction.....The children will be what their parents make them." Ministry of Healing. E.G. White p. 131
Mother's work is rarely appreciated. Others know little of her many cares and burdens. Her days are occupied with a round of little duties, all calling for patient effort, for self-control, for tact, wisdom, and self-sacrificing love, yet she cannot boast of what she has done as any great achievement. She has only kept things in the home running smoothly; often weary and perplexed, she has tried to speak kindly to the children, to keep them busy and happy, and to guide the little feet in the right path. She feels that she has accomplished nothing. But it is not so. Heavenly angels watch the careworn mother, noting the burdens she carries day by day. Her name may not have been heard in the world, but it is written in the Lamb's book of life." MH p.376
I just heard on the O'Reilly Factor, how the internet is becoming an evil upon evil. Though the good is there, anyone and everybody can post whatever they like, some they can catch up with, while others, not.
In Genesis 6 we are told that man became so wicked that God wanted to wipe them off the face of the earth, He was grieved and filled with pain....But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.
You and I, too, have found favor in the eyes of the Lord. Would we be alive today if it wasn't for the grace and mercy of God?
What does Genesis 9: 3-6 tell us? Noah was given instruction that now, after the flood, they could eat meat, but not if it has blood in it. Why? Was that instruction just for Noah? I don't think so, do you? "Flesh was never the best food, but its use is now doubly objectionable, since disease in animals is so rapidly increasing...TB, cancer and other fatal diseases are thus communicated." MH p. 313
It's hard to believe that the woman that wrote 'Ministry of Healing,' had only a 3rd grade education and because of a serious blow to her head by a stone, she could not continue her education, and became severely ill at different times. Yet she wrote books upon books, with the help of God, that are now showing how up-to-date her information was concerning health and other issues.
